The LinkMaster Ideal cable tester provides a separate debug mode for fault and pair identification. Remote unit has a T568A & T568B wiring chart for exact pinout verification of all 8 wires. The CAT5e cable tester tests all common data wiring configurations, cable shield integrity and patch cords over 18'' long.
