Fibertron MultiCure™ II 24 Port, 110V Fiber Optic Curing Oven

The Fibertron Multi-Cure™ II connector heater featured controlled curing of epoxy used in the termination of fibre optic connectors. The unit permits controlled curing for up to 24 connectors at one time and can accommodate most types of optical connectors using an interchangeable connector block. Compatible with connector types FC,SC,ST,D4 and SMA.

This Fiber Optic Curing Oven is compact, heats up quicker and is cooler operating than older models, and yet, by using identical connector blocks, allows up to 24 fiber optic cables and connectors to be consistently terminated with controlled epoxy curing. With a Multi-Cure™ II Oven on-line, you can greatly decrease connector loss, fiber cracking, and fiber stress; all of which result in reinforced termination quality and improved productivity. Heat guns create great changes in connector temperature and result in dissatisfying epoxy curing. Single temperature ovens do not permit optimal temperature/time curing cycles. The Multi-Cure™ II Oven’s adjustable thermostat controls the curing temperature over a range of 65°C to 125°C allowing the epoxy to cure at a lower temperature for longer periods of time (e.g. 1OO°C for 15 minutes).
